The plot is a sequence of events that make up a story, with each event affecting the other. Every story needs a beginning, middle, and end. But to write a good story, one must include certain elements to keep the reader interested.

We will be analyzing the characters in "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." If you've seen one of the movies, remember that we are analyzing and citing from Thurber's story, not the film adaptations.
